^I think it's hideous, but to each his own.
In other news:
Alright, I'm sold on the new Lexus after seeing the commercials.
The shift light integrated into the tach (that flash of green), the short stroke sound, and that ridiculously high redline make mah toes curl.
Some aspects of the body design are cool, I love that they were able to use the Supra's long wheelbase, and the front looks hella cool, but the quarter panels and ass-end still look choppy to me.
Design Features worth noting:
V-10 (short stroke) which results in the 9000 RPM redline and high-pitched supercar purr
552 HP on a 3263 lb frame = a dam fine weight to power ratio (5.91 to be exact, a normal car's is about 16)
RWD not AWD
Dry sump oiling so you can beat the hell out of that Fat-Cat motor without worrying about oil starvation.
Compression Ratio is 12:1 meaning that you pretty much cannot turbo it without rebuilding the motor

.
Each rear wheel is 2" wider in the back.
Given that this thing has a low profile, a fairly high power output, and a 0-60 time of 3.6 seconds, it's fast but just slightly slower than Chevy's ZR-1 Vette.
I like alot about this car but when it comes down to it, for 400k the dam thing should be able to teleport....it's kind of disappointing that they priced it so high and it's not the fastest thing on the road.
And it appears somebody has already built one proper.
